Selah Care Center welcomes you to our site!
.
At Selah... "We do not remember days, we remember moments."

Selah Adult Care and Activity Center provides social stimulation for adults who need interaction during the day. The staff specializes in caring for those with Alzheimer's and related illnesses in a safe and motivating environment.
.
Our Center offers an array of interactive activities, that includes social, recreational, cultural and educational activity programs for adults who may feel isolated and would prefer the company of others during the day while family members work or have additional responsibilities.
.
Our services include transportation, health monitoring by a licensed nurse, medication supervision, movement, intergenerational programs, music and entertainment, gardening and participation in community events. The individuals in our Center receive outstanding care, including nutrition oversight and assistance with activities of daily living.
.
Our staff is carefully selected to ensure their understanding of the special requirements of those attending our Center. We offer flexible hours Monday through Saturday. Overnight care available.

I ask you, what is she thinking?
What is her day going to be like today?
Will she even remember?
.
Our goal at Selah is to meet our Members where they are. She may believe that the year is 1936 and she needs to go home to her mother. We will assure her that her Mother is just fine and while we are waiting to leave at the end of the day, we will go for a walk, or walk across the room to visit with our friends.
.
At Selah, we do not remember days, we remember moments.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to promote quality of life for both the adult who needs our care and the caregiver through supportive services, the local community, the Church, health professionals, and businesses, including the support of non-profit organizations, and volunteers who want elders to age with grace, joy, dignity, and a new hope for a new day.
